VIP Experience
A little over a week ago, Nancy and I took a mini vacation. We drove down to Southern California to visit Universal Studios. We left on Monday morning and arrived at the Hyatt in Glendale early that afternoon. The Hyatt is close to the freeway and a block from the Glendale Galleria. After settling into our room we decided to have lunch and shop at the Galleria.

Our favorite ride was the Jurassic world ride. I have always been a fan of the original Jurassic Park movie. Our guide handed each one of us a disposable rain poncho. I can guarantee that you will get wet on this ride. Our guide always took us through the express line for all of the rides, so the wait time was minimal. We could use our VIP pass and go through the express line after the tour had ended. After visiting different areas of the park and riding the rides in those areas, we were off for lunch.

- Valet Parking – included with your ticket
- Breakfast – a buffet breakfast that was good, but not great.
- Rides – express line for all rides and an explanation of what the ride is like.
- Lunch – a buffet lunch that was very, very good. One of the best we have ever had.
- Studio Tour – NOT the regular studio tour, but one that is tailor-made for the VIP experience.
- Express Lines – After the VIP experience is over your ticket gives you access to the ride express lane.
If you want to avoid the crowd, ride almost all of the rides without a long wait time, have a great lunch, and go on a studio tour that is more personalized and with less people – then the VIP Experience is worth it. If Nancy and I go back to Universal Studios, we will have tickets for the VIP Experience.
