Three Amigos Go To Universal Studios

Earlier this year, The Three Amigos plus one, Nancy, decided to go to Universal Studios. We ended up purchasing tickets for the VIP Experience. Last year, Nancy and I went on the VIP Experience and it was well worth it. We had a great tour guide, who knew his stuff and made sure you had that VIP Experience. We decided to try it again with The Three Amigos.

Unfortunately, this time, the VIP Experience was not very good. We had a tour guide that didn’t seem very interested in the tour. He was late in meeting with us and didn’t really add anything to the tour. Our previous tour guide offered to take photos of us using our cell phones and was able to keep the tour interesting with his knowledge of Universal Studios.

We were also paired with another family that had a child who was severely disabled. Each trip to the next attraction took much longer, because of the extra accommodation needed for this child. We should have been asked if we would pair up with this family or they should have been provided their own tour. This was not a good situation, especially since we paid extra to have the VIP experience.

Although our VIP Experience was not up to par, we still enjoyed visiting Universal Studios. The rides are fun and enjoyable, the studio tour is very good and there are a lot less people than in Disneyland. If you don’t like waiting in those super long lines in Disneyland, you will enjoy Universal Studios.
