Butchart Gardens
The Butchart Gardens has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada. Once you visit the Gardens you can easily understand why it is a National Historic Site of Canada. The Gardens are located on Tod Inlet on Vancouver Island. The site was originally a limestone quarry used to supply a local cement factory. After the quarry had finished supplying limestone, Jennie Butchart began a lifelong project to create a garden and turn this barren limestone quarry into a place of beauty.
I have also included some photos of the city of Victoria.
